Christian Jeffery, 18, Arrested for Kyle Party Shooting

Christian Jeffery, 18, a documented gang member from Kyle, and a 17-year-old male, who was a minor at the time, have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a party that left a 17-year-old male wounded. The shooting took place on the early morning of November 26 at a residence off Old Stagecoach Road near West Center Street in Kyle.

Kyle Police responded to reports of shots fired but initially had difficulty locating the shooter. However, a breakthrough came the following day when officers investigating a separate call for deadly conduct found ballistic evidence linking it to the prior shooting.

Through the hard work of officers, detectives, and forensic investigators, authorities were able to connect the two incidents. Jeffery and the 17-year-old suspect now face two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges. The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, is recovering from the injury.
