In a significant drug bust, the Chintamani police have arrested Shabana, a 52-year-old construction laborer, after recovering 5.7 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs1.5 lakh from her house.
The arrest followed a targeted police raid based on specific inputs, which led authorities to her residence. Upon searching the property, police seized the illegal drugs, which were allegedly being stored for trafficking purposes.
