Chennai Teacher Sivasankari Arrested for Rs 51 Lakh Job Scam

Chennai city police arrested Sivasankari, a 45-year-old physical education teacher, for allegedly defrauding job seekers. Sivasankari is accused of collecting Rs 51 lakh by promising teaching and non-teaching positions at Church of South India (CSI) schools. She reportedly issued fake appointment letters to the victims.

The police investigation revealed that Sivasankari cheated 11 individuals, taking Rs 26 lakh from six victims and Rs 25 lakh from five others. The victims had paid the money in exchange for promised jobs, only to receive falsified appointment leters..
