Two individuals from Ardmore, Oklahoma, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with trafficking methamphetamine after Chickasaw Lighthorse Police allegedly found more than 20 grams of meth and a glass pipe in their possession.
Charles Douglas, 51, and Erika Clinton, 34, both face serious charges related to drug trafficking. Court documents state that the pair was caught with the methamphetamine during a police investigation in Carter County.
Clinton’s bond is set at $50,000, while Douglas’s bond is higher at $75,000. If convicted, Douglas faces up to life in prison, while Clinton could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and distribution in the region.
