Chandrasekharpur Police arrested a 27-year-old youth, Nila Pattnaik, today after seizing 7.5 grams of brown sugar near Utkal Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Following a tip-off, the police team swiftly acted and detained Pattnaik, a resident of Darutheng, currently staying near Panda Park (A) Basti in Niladri Vihar. Upon searching his belongings, the police found the brown sugar, a motorcycle, Rs. 1,000 in cash, and six packing papers.
During interrogation, Pattnaik revealed that he had been previously arrested for selling brown sugar as well. The police are continuing their investigation into his activities.
