chabal Police have successfully arrested two individuals involved in a drug trafficking operation. The police seized four grams of heroin and Rs1.02 lakh in drug money from the suspects. The authorities also confiscated their car used in the illegal activity.
The suspects have been identified as Manjit Singh Meeta from Gatti Rajoke and Sajan from Border Road Bastiaava in Ferozpur. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Rana, the arrests were made after a detailed investigation into their illegal activities.
A case has been registered against the suspects under various sections of the NDPS Act, including Sections 21, 29, 27-A, 25, 61, and 85. After their arrest, the suspects were presented in court, where they were sent to police custody for two days. The police have hinted at further revelations during the interrogation, and more arrests could be made as the investigation progresses.
The authorities have stated that they are continuing their efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region and will remain vigilant in targeting such criminal activities.
