CEO and Executives Arrested in Pyramid Scheme Probe at iCon Group

A total of 12 individuals, including the CEO and 11 executives of the iCon Group, have been detained and brought in for questioning by the police’s Central Investigation Bureau in Thailand. Among those arrested are Pancharat “Boss Ton” Kanokraktanaporn, Thananon “Boss Mor Ek” Hirunchaiwan, Natpasorn “Boss Suay” Chatthanasorn, Yasikarn “Boss Soda” Ekchisanupong, Hatsayanon “Boss Pop” Ekchisanupong, Nantharat “Boss Ohm” Chaowanapricha, Thawinphat “Boss Win” Phuphatthanarin, Yuranan “Boss Sam” Pamornmontri, Pechaya “Boss Min” Wattanamontri, Wilailak “Boss Oil” Jengsuwan, and Thanaroj “Boss Op” Thitijariyawat.

Authorities are still searching for six more executives who are believed to be at large: Kan “Boss Kan” Kantathavorn, Jirawat Saengphakdi, Chetnapat “Boss Tommy” Apipattanakarn, Saowapha “Boss Oommy” Wongsakha, Kanokthon “Boss Mae Ying” Puranasukhon, and Klod “Boss Peter” Setthanan.

Investigators have also been raiding the home and offices of Warathaphon, a key individual associated with the company, in order to gather further evidence related to the case.

The iCon Group is accused of operating an extensive pyramid scheme that enticed hundreds of individuals into purchasing large quantities of products. Victims have filed police complaints, stating they were led to believe the products could be resold quickly for profit. However, when these products did not sell as promised, the company reportedly advised victims to recruit additional dealers, with the promise of earning a portion of their recruits’ “investments.”

The authorities’ investigation is ongoing as they continue to scrutinize the activities of the iCon Group and its executives.
