CCB Arrests Nigerian Woman in Rs24 Crore MDMA Seizure in Bengaluru

In one of Bengaluru’s largest drug seizures to date, the Anti-Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested Roselime Oluchi Ikeoha, a 40-year-old woman from Nigeria, and seized 12 kilograms of MDMA crystals worth Rs24 crore.

The accused, who had been running a grocery shop in T.C. Palya for the past five years, is believed to have used her shop as a front for a drug-peddling operation. Investigators allege that Ikeoha was distributing drugs to a network of customers, utilizing the business to facilitate her illegal activities.

Following a detailed investigation, the CCB raided the shop and uncovered the massive stash of MDMA. Ikeoha was arrested on the spot and is currently under judicial remand. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover further links to the broader drug network.

This seizure highlights the growing concerns over the spread of synthetic drugs in Bengaluru and the need for heightened vigilance by law enforcement. The CCB is now working to track down Ikeoha’s associates and dismantle the operation.
