BAVET CITY, Cambodia – A Titan Casino employee has been arrested in connection with a stabbing attack that took place in Bavet Kandal village, Bavet commune, in the early hours of May 28, 2024.
Suspect and Victim Identified
According to Bavet City Police, the suspect has been identified as Eng Piseth, a 30-year-old Cambodian chef at Titan Casino. He allegedly stabbed 28-year-old Pich Dara after a drunken argument over a woman.
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities took Pich Dara to Svay Rieng Provincial Hospital for treatment following the attack. Meanwhile, Eng Piseth is currently in police custody, undergoing interrogation at the Bavet City Police Inspectorate as officers prepare a legal case against him.
