Carl Sanders Charged in Leicester Burglary Case

Three men have been remanded in custody after appearing in court on burglary charges linked to the discovery of a woman’s body in Leicester. The information was confirmed by an administrative officer at Leicester Magistrates’ Court.

Leicestershire Police reported that the woman’s body was found on Radiant Road in Thurncourt on Thursday morning.

Carl Sanders, 48, from Flamborough Road in Leicester, faces several charges, including preventing the lawful burial of a body, burglary, and three counts of fraud by false misrepresentation.

Richard Chapman, 39, and Christopher Chapman, 35, both without fixed addresses, have also been charged with burglary.

The men appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody, with their next hearing scheduled at Leicester Crown Court on August 19.

Additionally, two other men, aged 48 and 39, who were arrested in connection with the case, have been released on police bail pending further investigations. A post-mortem examination has been conducted, with additional tests planned.
