Car Dealership Owner Donna Kester Ivey Arrested in Multi-Agency Fraud Investigation

Donna Kester Ivey, the owner of Auto Cars of Murrells Inlet, has been arrested following a two-month-long investigation conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies. She faces seven counts of failure to remit vehicle titles and two felony charges for writing fraudulent checks exceeding $5,000.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office spearheaded the investigation with assistance from the State Law Enforcement Division, the 15th Solicitor’s Office Investigations Division, and the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and encourage anyone who believes they may have been defrauded by Auto Cars to reach out at (843) 546-5102.
