A 29-year-old man from Tupelo, Caleb Price, was arrested and charged with fentanyl and firearm possession following a December 18th search of his residence. The Tupelo Police Department, in collaboration with the Tupelo SWAT and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant at 1323 Green Tee Road.
During the search, authorities recovered a felony amount of fentanyl and a Taurus 9mm pistol from the property. After further investigation, Price was taken into custody on charges of possession of fentanyl and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Jay Weird set a bond of $25,000 for Price, who remains in custody as more details become available.
