Cade Logan Arrested for Burglary and Theft in Cape Coral

Cape Coral, FL — Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department responded to a call reporting a suspicious person on a property in Southwest Cape Coral.

The homeowner reported a white male with a beard, tattoos, and shorts walking around inside their enclosed pool cage. Upon arriving at the scene, officers were directed by the homeowner to the backyard where the suspect was located. The suspect was found hiding in the bushes. After announcing himself, the officer gave commands, and the suspect, later identified as Cade Alexander Logan (DOB 11/25/1994), complied.

After detaining Logan, officers spoke with the homeowner, who explained that they had been sleeping when they heard unusual noises on their lanai. Upon checking their security cameras, the homeowner saw Logan entering the lanai and stealing a decorative turtle. The turtle was recovered and returned to the homeowner.

The investigation revealed that Logan had illegally entered the lanai, was not invited, and stole the decorative turtle before leaving the property.

Cade Logan was taken to the Lee County Jail and charged with:

1 count of Burglary of an occupied dwelling (unarmed) under F.S.S. 810.02(3)(a)
1 count of Petit theft under F.S.S. 812.04(3)(a)
