Bulubiro and Dildar Ali Arrested for Ganja Smuggling in Mangaluru

In a major drug bust, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested two individuals involved in smuggling ganja from Odisha to Mangaluru. The arrested men, Bulubiro (24) from Odisha and Dildar Ali (28) from West Bengal, were apprehended following a raid conducted by the CCB police in the Tachani area near Talapady.

The police acted on a tip-off regarding the duo’s involvement in selling illegal narcotics in the area. Upon raiding their location, the authorities seized 8.650 kg of ganja, which has an estimated market value of Rs 2.6 lakh. Along with the drugs, the police also confiscated two mobile phones from the accused.

The arrested individuals are now in police custody, and further investigations are underway to determine the full scope of their illicit activities and connections within the drug trafficking network.

This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts by Mangaluru police to curb the growing drug smuggling and trafficking issues in the region.
