Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced that a four-month narcotics investigation led to the arrests of two individuals, Bryan Wright, 50, of Gray, and Richard Comardelle Jr., 48, of Larose. Both men were arrested in connection to illegal narcotics sales in the central and southern areas of Lafourche Parish.
The investigation began in November 2024 after authorities identified several people and locations involved in drug sales. Narcotics agents executed search warrants for homes, vehicles, and electronic devices, which led to the seizure of various narcotics and two firearms. Arrest warrants were issued for Wright and Comardelle.
Wright was arrested earlier this month and charged with two counts of methamphetamine distribution, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, illegal firearm possession in the presence of drugs, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $175,500, and he is being held for parole violations.
Comardelle was arrested on February 24, 2025, and faces charges of methamphetamine distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $100,000.
