A Brush man has been arrested after an extensive investigation into child sex abuse material, according to the Brush Police Department. Matthew Harding, 36, was arrested Thursday on felony charges, facing 64 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. He is currently being held without bond at the Morgan County Detention Center, pending further proceedings.
The investigation began in October 2024 when Brush Police Investigations received a cyber tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. A social media platform had flagged material containing child sexual abuse content, which led authorities to open a case. Additional cyber tips linked Harding to the possession and distribution of multiple files containing child sex abuse material.
Harding’s arrest follows a thorough investigation, but law enforcement has yet to release further details as the case remains ongoing.
