Brothers Yudvin & Glin Zunigalatin Arrested for Human Trafficking

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach County deputies have arrested two Guatemalan brothers, Yudvin and Glin Zunigalatin, in connection with a human trafficking operation involving forced prostitution.

According to authorities, deputies responded to a 911 call on Sunday morning from a woman claiming she was being held against her will. She was unsure of her location but had been detained for several days.

Deputies traced the call to a residence on Lake Avenue and found two men acting suspiciously outside. Upon entering the home, they discovered two women who had been lured under false pretenses and forced into commercial sex work.

Sgt. Carlos Lisboa of the Special Investigations Division stated that an active brothel was operating at the residence. The victims were kept in separate rooms and were forced to engage in sexual activity with the manager and property owner.

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw confirmed that both the suspects and victims were in the U.S. illegally and that the brothers were running multiple brothels, now under investigation. ICE has placed detainers on the suspects, who remain in Palm Beach County Jail without bond.

They face charges of human trafficking, procurement of prostitution, and keeping a house of ill fame. Authorities are considering seizing properties involved in such crimes to combat human trafficking in the area.
