Brian Keith Davis Arrested for Insurance Fraud After Krispy Kreme Fire

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Brian Keith Davis, the owner of the Krispy Kreme store in College Station that burned down last year, has been arrested again, this time on charges of insurance fraud. The arrest occurred on Tuesday, January 7, and his bond was set at $50,000. Davis was released later that same day.

This arrest follows his previous arrest in 2024 when he was charged with arson related to the fire that destroyed the Krispy Kreme on Harvey Road in May. The fire occurred in the middle of the night, and after an investigation, the College Station Fire Department announced in August that Davis was accused of intentionally setting the fire.

Davis now faces insurance fraud charges in connection with the incident. Investigators believe he may have attempted to collect insurance money under fraudulent circumstances following the fire. The case is ongoing, and further legal proceedings are expected.
