Brian Justice Arrested After Domestic Disturbance in Princeton

PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Brian Justice, a Princeton man, was arrested on Saturday, February 2, 2025, following a domestic disturbance at 217 Kee Street in Mercer County. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call from Alene Lambert, Justice’s grandmother, who reported that her grandson had broken two windows, damaged his room’s walls, and physically assaulted her. She also mentioned that Justice had threatened to “kill everyone if the law was called.”

Mercer County officers arrived at the residence around 10:10 a.m. Cpl. E.D. Leftwich positioned himself near the back window—an escape route Justice had used in previous incidents—while Ptlm. Cook approached the front door. Upon seeing law enforcement, Justice attempted to flee through the window but retreated inside. Officers were able to take him into custody without further incident.

After Justice’s arrest, authorities spoke with the victims. Kathy Moore, his mother, told police that Justice had been making threats against both her and his grandmother throughout the morning and was reportedly under the influence of methamphetamine. Lambert, his grandmother, confirmed she had been physically pushed and threatened during the altercation.

Justice has a prior conviction for domestic battery in McDowell County, with a deposition date set for August 31, 2021. Following his Saturday arrest, he was processed and transported to Southern Regional Jail, where he remains in custody awaiting arraignment.
