COLUMBIA, MO – A 26-year-old Columbia man was arrested on March 5, 2025, after police discovered more than 4 pounds of cocaine-laced fake Xanax pills during a traffic stop.

A probable cause statement revealed that the pills tested positive for cocaine and weighed 4.1 pounds. In addition to the pills, police found a small baggie with 2.5 Oxycodone pills inside Demarco’s wallet.

Demarco was arrested and charged with:
First-Degree Drug Trafficking
Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was booked into the Boone County Jail without bond.
