Breanna Martin, Laquiesha Ellington, Jasmine Russell, and Oscar Guerra Arrested for $3,800 Organized Retail Theft in Vacaville

Four Sacramento residents were arrested in Vacaville this week after being caught in a large-scale theft operation. Breanna Martin, 31; Laquiesha Ellington, 37; Jasmine Russell, 37; and Oscar Guerra, 30, were apprehended after stealing over $3,800 worth of merchandise from Nordstrom Rack and Nike. The arrests were made following a tip from a vigilant community member and swift action by local officers.

The suspects were seen running out of stores with stolen items, and officers quickly located their getaway vehicle. Investigations revealed the group was working together to steal clothing and accessories. As a result of Proposition 36, which increases penalties for repeat offenders, Martin and Russell were charged with felony shoplifting, while all four face charges of organized retail theft and conspiracy.

Police praised the community for their involvement and emphasized the importance of the new law in holding repeat offenders accountable.
