Prince Frederick, MD – An 18-year-old Prince Frederick man, Brandon McNeil Robinson, was arrested on Feb. 10, 2025, after allegedly trespassing at a 7-Eleven store and stealing a package of cookies, despite being previously banned from the property.
Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disorderly subject report at the 7-Eleven on Solomons Island Road. Before they arrived, it was reported that the suspect had left the store and was heading toward Church Street. Deputies quickly located and identified Robinson, who was known to them from prior interactions.
A records check revealed that Robinson had been indefinitely trespassed from the 7-Eleven location since April 2024. When searched, Robinson was found with a package of chocolate chip cookies in his pocket, branded with the store’s logo. He admitted to taking the cookies before officers arrived.
Robinson was arrested and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with trespassing, a misdemeanor carrying a penalty of up to 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine. He was released on his own recognizance following his initial appearance, and his trial is set for April 18, 2025, at Calvert County District Court.
The case remains open, and further legal proceedings will determine the outcome of the charges.
