GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A 24-year-old man from Andrews, Brandon Colter, was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with a major narcotics operation, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Colter is facing six charges related to the distribution of fentanyl, with additional charges for trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana. He also faces charges for possessing a weapon during a violent crime and distributing drugs within a half-mile of a school.
The charges stem from a joint operation by the Georgetown County Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team in the Andrews area. During the raid, agents found significant amounts of various narcotics, including fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine. Authorities seized approximately 300 grams of fentanyl, 81.6 grams of crack cocaine, 108.5 grams of cocaine, 82.6 grams of marijuana, and 2.14 grams of methamphetamine. In addition to the drugs, four firearms, packaging materials, and paraphernalia for manufacturing crack cocaine were found.
The investigation continues as authorities pursue further charges related to the operation.
