Brandon Aptaker Arrested in Cheyenne on Forgery Charges

Brandon Charles Aptaker, a 32-year-old man from Cheyenne, Wyoming, has been arrested and charged with four felony counts of forgery after a police search at his residence. Aptaker was taken into custody on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at his home on the 3000 block of Dillon Avenue, after police arrived with a search warrant.

Aptaker was booked at the Laramie County Detention Center following his arrest. The charges against him are related to allegations of making forged documents, a serious felony that could result in up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.

Aptaker appeared in Laramie County Circuit Court on Friday, Nov. 15, where his bond was set at $2,000 in cash. He posted bond shortly afterward. A preliminary hearing for Aptaker has been scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, at 11:15 a.m.

It is important to note that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
