Brandon Adams Arrested in Connection with Armed Robberies in Washington

WASHINGTON, N.C. — The Washington Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with multiple armed robberies that took place over the weekend.

Brandon Moray Adams, 22, of Washington, was taken into custody on Sunday night after WPD officers obtained warrants for his arrest. Adams was arrested around 11:05 p.m. and transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center.

He has been identified as the suspect in two armed robberies: one at H&K Mart, located at 800 Carolina Avenue, which occurred around 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, and another at Drive Thru Smoker Tobacco and Vape Store, located at 1412 Carolina Avenue, around 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, February 23.

Officials say they were able to identify Adams based on his description, behavior, and surveillance footage from both locations.

According to the charges, Adams stole $400 from one location and $660 from the other, while being armed with a black semi-automatic firearm in both robberies.

Adams appeared in court on Monday morning, February 24, where he was granted a $75,000 bond.

This is an ongoing investigation, and Adams faces serious charges for his involvement in these armed robberies.
