Bradley Richardson Arrested in Connection with HEB Armored Truck Robbery in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas — The Sugar Land Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division has made an arrest in connection with the armored truck robbery that occurred earlier this month at an HEB store.

The incident took place on December 3, 2024, at around 12:10 p.m. at the HEB located on Highway 6 at University Boulevard. During the robbery, a suspect stole a bag of money from an armored truck stationed outside the store. As the suspect attempted to flee, a security guard fired at least two shots at the getaway vehicle, hitting it. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Bradley Richardson has since turned himself in to authorities and is facing felony theft charges. However, the search continues for a second suspect involved in the theft, who remains at large.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to capture the second suspect and gather more details about the crime.
