Bobby Jefferson Accused of Embezzling from Aberdeen Employer

Bobby Jefferson, 29, from Raeford, has been arrested on multiple charges of embezzlement and theft from his employer, Circle K in Aberdeen.

On October 29, Aberdeen police responded to a report of employee theft at the Circle K convenience store located on U.S. 1 and Saunders Blvd. The store manager informed officers that Jefferson had been stealing from the business over a span of six days.

Following an investigation, which included reviewing video footage and transaction records, it was revealed that Jefferson had executed nine fraudulent transactions, resulting in a loss of nearly $1,500 for the business.

Jefferson was arrested at the scene and, during a search, suspected marijuana was found in his possession. He has been charged with five counts of felony embezzlement, four counts of felony larceny by an employee, and possession of Schedule VI drugs.

Jefferson is being held at the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
