A Whitwell, Tennessee man has been arrested following a manhunt in connection to a homicide investigation, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) announced.
Authorities began investigating after Danny Durham was found dead in a home on March 9. Evidence quickly led investigators to identify Billy Massengale as the primary suspect in Durham’s death.
Massengale was arrested on Saturday and is currently being held at the Marion County Jail. On Tuesday, he was officially charged with criminal homicide.
The case remains under investigation as authorities continue gathering evidence.
