The Sadar Police have arrested a man in connection with a theft case and recovered stolen items from his possession. The accused, identified as Bikram Kumar, a resident of Khalwara village near Phagwara, was apprehended after a swift operation following a tip-off about a theft at a religious place in Wajidowal village.
SP Rupinder Kaur Bhatti shared details, stating that a police team, led by Sadar SHO Balwinder Singh Bhullar, quickly responded to the information. During the investigation, the police recovered stolen goods, including an inverter, batteries, and a gas cylinder, from Kumar’s possession.
Kumar is currently in police custody, and further investigation into the case is ongoing.
