Bhojpur Police Arrest Four Drug Peddlers, Seize 30.5kg Cannabis

In a major drug bust, the Bhojpur Police, acting on a tip-off, arrested four suspected drug peddlers on Friday. The operation, led by Gajrajganj OP SHO Hari Prasad Sharma, resulted in the seizure of 30.5 kg of cannabis (ganja), valued at approximately Rs 2.5 lakh. The police also confiscated the car used in the trafficking, Rs 2,700 in cash, and four cellphones.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ankit Raj from Saran district, and Dheeraj Kumar Singh, Raju Kumar Rai, and Abhimanyu (alias Kunkun Singh) from Bhojpur. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at the Gajrajganj OP, and further investigation is underway to trace the broader network involved in the drug trade.
