Bhima Dula Arrested: Raid Reveals Weapons and Cash at Farmhouse

In a significant operation, police have arrested Bhima Dula following a raid at his farmhouse, where they discovered a cache of weapons, liquor bottles, and over Rs91 lakh in cash. The raid, led by district police chief Bhagirathsinh Jadeja, was part of an ongoing investigation into an assault case involving the Rabari community.

During the raid, authorities seized hundreds of live cartridges for pistols, rifles, and revolvers, along with four firearms and various sharp weapons. Dula’s family members, including his son, daughter-in-law, and wife, are currently under scrutiny regarding the recovered items.

Dula has a long criminal history, with 48 offenses registered against him since 1975, including serious charges like murder. His most recent crime was recorded in 2011. Local businesses have previously faced extortion activities from Dula, prompting many to relocate from the Porbandar area.

The latest investigation stems from a clash that occurred on September 24, when Dula’s aide attacked a member of the Rabari community over a bike overtaking dispute. This altercation had been escalating for two months. Following the incident, police analyzed CCTV footage and gathered intelligence, leading to the raid at Dula’s farmhouse.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, and further arrests may follow as the inquiry progresses.
