Bhagwat Rajput Arrested for Robbing Elderly Woman in Annapurna

A man named Bhagwat Rajput was arrested by the police for robbing a 70-year-old woman of her gold chain in the Annapurna area. The incident occurred on February 19 when two bikers approached the elderly woman in the Nemi Nagar area. After the crime, the accused changed his clothes to mislead authorities, but police were able to trace him after reviewing over 500 CCTV footage from various locations.

The police team tracked down Rajput, a resident of Kannod in Dewas district, in the Banganga area. Upon his arrest, they recovered the stolen gold chain and the bike used in the robbery. Rajput revealed that he and his accomplice Ankit, a resident of UP, were responsible for the crime.

Efforts are currently underway to apprehend Ankit, the remaining suspect in the robbery.
