Bennett T. Neely Arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary and Stealing

Officers in Pettis County responded to a burglary investigation on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., leading to the arrest of 26-year-old Bennett T. Neely. Neely was taken into custody without incident at 1213 South Carr after officers had established probable cause for his involvement in burglary and theft.

Upon receiving consent from the homeowner, officers conducted a search of the residence, recovering multiple items suspected of being stolen from the victims. These items were secured for processing as part of the ongoing investigation.

Neely was transported to Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold. He now faces charges of 2nd Degree Burglary and Stealing. The Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) will continue to investigate the case further.
