Bengaluru Police Bust Cyber Fraud Ring; 7 Arrested Including Azharuddin

The Bengaluru Police have dismantled a cyber fraud ring operating in Mysuru that targeted victims through social media scams. Seven individuals, including Azharuddin, Shashikumar, and Syed Danish, were arrested in connection with the scam.

During the crackdown, authorities seized key evidence, including nine mobile phones, 31 ATM cards, 11 bank passbooks, and nine Aadhaar cards. These items are believed to have been used for fraudulent activities by the accused.

The police have launched an ongoing investigation to uncover the full extent of the fraud ring’s operations and to identify further victims. The suspects are currently in custody, with further inquiries underway to expose additional details about the scam.
