Bangladeshi National Ramzan Shaikh Arrested in Kadugodi

The Kadugodi police, in collaboration with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and the Internal Security Division (ISD), have arrested a 38-year-old Bangladeshi national named Ramzan Shaikh. He was apprehended for residing in the city under a false identity with forged documents.

According to police reports, Ramzan Shaikh had been living in the area for the past eight years, working in a garbage segregation unit alongside his wife. His capture followed a missing person complaint filed by his first wife in Bangladesh, who reported that he had traveled to India on a medical visa and never returned.

The authorities tracked Shaikh down, leading to his arrest and the discovery of his fraudulent identity. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further details about his stay in India and the circumstances surrounding his immigration.
