Balwinder Singh Arrested for Land Fraud, Dupes Buyers of Rs1.03 Crore

The police have arrested Balwinder Singh, a resident of Jayanti Majri, for allegedly defrauding multiple buyers by forging revenue documents and illegally selling land in the Mullanpur area. Singh, who was arrested for duping buyers, was presented before a court and remanded to two days of police custody.

The accused is said to have defrauded Haryana resident Sukhdev Singh of Rs60 lakh and a doctor of Rs43 lakh through fraudulent land transactions. Investigations revealed that Singh had been involved in similar fraudulent activities, with nine cases already filed against him in Haryana, Chandigarh, and Punjab.

The police are continuing to investigate his involvement in other potential scams and land-related frauds.
