In a significant drug bust, Ayanavaram police arrested four men on charges of possessing and trafficking narcotic substances. The arrests took place on Wednesday and Thursday, following an operation based on tip-offs and subsequent investigation.
The arrested men have been identified as M Surya (24), S Martin Joshua Timothy (31), K Rajesh (37), and B Pradeep. Police recovered a variety of drugs from their possession, including 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, 23 LSD stamps, 33 grams of OG ganja, and 167 MDMA tablets. In addition to the drugs, two mobile phones were seized, which were believed to be used for communication related to the illegal transactions.
The arrests of M Surya and S Martin Joshua Timothy occurred on Wednesday, following a tip-off. Subsequently, the other two suspects, K Rajesh and B Pradeep, were apprehended based on information provided by the first two individuals in custody.
This successful operation highlights the Ayanavaram police’s ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking and protect local communities from the dangers of narcotics.
