Aubrey Luker, 43, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 43-year-old Toby Hill in Navarre, Florida. Luker was found guilty of First Degree Premeditated Murder on Wednesday, and a judge immediately imposed a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
The fatal shooting occurred on April 7, 2023, on the 2600 block of Salamanca Street. According to the State Attorney’s Office, Hill was sitting outside a residence when Luker approached him from behind and shot him in the back of the head with a .380 caliber handgun. The motive behind the murder has not been fully disclosed, but the premeditated nature of the crime led to the severe sentencing.
