Asif, Asgar Ali & Rasheem Nabbed With MDMA Near Suratkal

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the CCB police arrested three men near Suratkal for possession and distribution of MDMA, a banned synthetic drug. Acting on a tip-off, authorities seized 10 grams of MDMA from the suspects.

The arrested individuals have been identified as:

Asif (24), a resident of Krishnapura

Asgar Ali (31), from Mukka

Rasheem (24), hailing from Haleyangady

Investigations revealed that the trio had procured the MDMA from Bengaluru via parcel through a private bus service and were selling the drugs to locals, including students.

Along with the MDMA—valued at Rs1 lakh—police also confiscated Rs4,000 in cash, four mobile phones, and a car believed to have been used in the illegal operation.

The accused are being booked under relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigations are underway to trace the full extent of the supply chain.
