Phagwara Police Nab Drug Peddler at Checkpoint, Case Filed Under NDPS Act
Phagwara police arrested Ashok Kumar, a resident of village Dhak-Pandori, on Monday night for possessing 45 intoxicating tablets. The accused was nabbed during a routine checkpoint operation.
Following the arrest, a case was registered against Ashok Kumar under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
