Arvind Rana Arrested in Meerut for Army Job Scam

Arvind Rana, a resident of Badaun district, previously worked in the merchant navy but quit due to safety fears. Unable to secure an army position himself, he resorted to scamming others seeking military jobs. He was apprehended near the Military Hospital in Meerut.

During the arrest, authorities recovered several fake documents from Rana, including an Aadhaar card, military card, and a joining letter, which serve as evidence against him. A case has been filed at Meerut’s Sadar Police Station, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat fraud in job recruitment.
