Upon further investigation, a fake police identification card was recovered from Arshdeep Singh. The local court has remanded both suspects to two days in police custody for further questioning.

A case has been registered against them under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges related to forgery and fraudulent activities.
