Arrest Warrant Issued for Michael Turlington in Kittitas County

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — An arrest warrant has been issued for Michael William Turlington, who faces felony drug charges after failing to appear in court. Turlington was arrested in 2023 during a major drug trafficking bust.

He is charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver, possession of a stolen vehicle, and theft. Authorities seized 1.8 pounds of methamphetamine, several ounces of cocaine and heroin, and approximately 200 counterfeit Percocet pills in a truck that Turlington illegally parked in a handicap spot at the Pilot Travel Center.

Turlington was scheduled for a status conference on his trial last Friday in Kittitas County Superior Court but failed to appear. Prosecutors requested that Judge L. Candace Hooper issue a bench warrant for his arrest, setting his bond at $20,000, which was granted. The authorities are now actively seeking his apprehension.
