Arif and Isam Arrested for Diesel Theft from VMC Tanker

In Vadodara, the Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested two employees involved in the theft of diesel from a tanker owned by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC). The two arrested individuals, Arif, a driver, and Isam, a security guard, were working as contract employees with Balaji Security Private Limited. Both have been employed by VMC for the past six years.

The diesel theft occurred after the VMC tankers were refueled. The stolen fuel was siphoned from a tanker that was stationed in a godown near Golden Chowk. This tanker, which is used for drainage cleaning by VMC, became the target of the workers for the illegal activity.

SOG officials launched an investigation after receiving a tip-off. Upon examining the tanker and gathering evidence, they discovered that Arif and Isam were stealing and selling the diesel. The police have initiated action against the accused, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of their operation.
