HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Rodolfo Dejesus Chacon, a 56-year-old Arden man, has been charged with embezzling more than $50,000 from a Henderson County youth sports league.
According to a news release from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on February 7, Chacon was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force. The arrest comes nearly a year after the Henderson County Criminal Investigations Division Property Crimes Unit launched an investigation into embezzlement within the youth sports league, identifying Chacon as the suspect.
Chacon was brought before a magistrate and issued a $20,000 secured bond.
