Antwan Williams Arrested in Aberdeen on Multiple Drug and Firearm Charges

ABERDEEN, NC – A 36-year-old Aberdeen man, Antwan Williams, was arrested on September 19, 2024, after Moore County Sheriff’s Department detectives executed a search warrant at his residence on Aspen Street. The search uncovered a significant quantity of illegal substances, including suspected cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.

Williams now faces numerous charges, including possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a place for controlled substances, and firearm possession by a felon. Additionally, Williams was served an outstanding arrest warrant for alleged drug sales, further compounding the severity of his charges.

Williams was placed under a 48-hour hold, as required by HB813, and is scheduled to appear in Moore County district court on September 26, 2024. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to pursue leads in connection with his case.
