Two brazen casino robberies in Pennsylvania have led to the arrests of two men from Maryland, with a third still charged and on the run.
Pennsylvania State Police have charged Antonio Jackson, 41, Anthony Paye, 47, and Macy Wyatt Wilson, 35, with conspiring to steal high-value gaming chips from two Hollywood Casino properties. According to the authorities, the trio took $17,000 worth of purple chips—each valued at $500—from Hollywood Casino York on the morning of Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Surveillance footage revealed Wilson walking onto the gaming floor at Hollywood Casino York, located in the Galleria Mall, where he sat down at a blackjack table. A week and a half later, on December 7, 2024, Wilson allegedly attempted a similar heist at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. This time, after forcibly stealing chips from an unspecified table game, Wilson fled through the bus entrance and into the parking garage.
Surveillance and police investigation linked the gray Ford Explorer, which had a noticeable dent in its tailgate, to the two robberies. The vehicle was spotted near a nearby hotel hours after the Penn National heist. When police approached a man in the hotel lobby, Wilson identified himself and gave officers permission to search his hotel room.
Inside the room, officers found the Ford Explorer key. Pressing the panic button on the key fob triggered the car’s horn and flashers. Surveillance footage then showed Wilson and Paye using the stolen purple chips and withdrawing cash from casino ATMs, further implicating them in the thefts.
Wilson and Paye, residents of Baltimore, and Jackson, from Owings Mills, face multiple felony charges, including conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking. Wilson remains in jail after failing to post a $500,000 bond, while Paye is also detained. Jackson remains at large.
