VICKSBURG, MS — Anthony White, a 42-year-old resident of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, October 17, 2024, facing charges of Aggravated Assault. His arrest is linked to a shooting incident that occurred on Washington Street on July 30, 2024, where he allegedly shot another man in the arm.
Judge Angela Carpenter set White’s bond at $60,000 and has bound the case over to the Warren County Grand Jury for further proceedings.
The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. on July 30, when the victim was shot near National Street and Washington Street. Following the shooting, the victim sought help at a nearby Speed Mart, reporting that a confrontation had occurred with a person in a white vehicle, later identified as Anthony White.
