Fresno, CA (February 9, 2025) — Two men have been arrested in connection with two robberies that occurred in Fresno on February 1, 2025, according to Fresno Police Department officials. The first robbery occurred at Best Buy on Blackstone Avenue, where a suspect forcefully ripped two cash registers from behind the counter before fleeing through the parking lot. The suspect was followed by a second individual, and both suspects were seen entering a vehicle which then fled the area.
Fifteen minutes later, a second robbery took place at Deli Delicious, located near Blackstone Avenue and Shields Avenue. The suspect at Deli Delicious grabbed a cash register from the kitchen area, and although several employees chased after him, the suspect managed to escape in a vehicle. One victim was injured as the vehicle ran over their foot.
Fresno detectives linked both robberies, noting that the same vehicle description was provided in each case. The investigation led to the identification of Anthony Bryan Rojas and Raymond Rojas as suspects. The Reedley Police Department made contact with the two men inside the suspect vehicle, which was found in Reedley. Raymond Rojas was in possession of a large amount of cash at the time of the arrest.

Raymond Rojas was arrested for robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime in the Best Buy robbery, as well as for robbery in the Deli Delicious case. A juvenile suspect was also taken into custody in Sanger.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department recovered the stolen cash registers, which had been abandoned. The investigation continues, and officials urge anyone with additional information to contact Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
