Anjuna Police Arrest Two Karnataka Men in Rs4 Lakh Theft Case

The Anjuna police on Monday arrested two individuals from Karnataka in connection with a high-end mobile phone and MacBook theft. The accused, identified as Kumar Dodderi (20) and Sandeep Siddanamatti (30), both residents of Shivmoga, Karnataka, were apprehended by the police following a thorough investigation.

The investigation was initiated after a complaint was filed by Vikas Khadav, a resident of Rajasthan, who reported the theft of two high-end mobile phones and a MacBook from his rented accommodation in Anjuna. The stolen items were valued at approximately Rs4 lakh.

Using a combination of technical surveillance and human intelligence, the police traced the suspects and linked them to a larger interstate mobile theft gang. The duo was arrested in Canacona, Goa, while attempting to flee the state.

The police recovered 11 stolen mobile phones of various brands and the MacBook during their arrest. The suspects were taken into custody and are now facing charges related to theft. Further investigation is ongoing to uncover the full scope of their criminal activities and identify any other potential victims.
